Architectural Drafter / Project Manager
Position Overview:
Arise Design Studio is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Architectural Drafter / Project Manager to join our collaborative team. This hybrid role combines technical drafting and documentation with project coordination and client management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM), demonstrate a strong understanding of construction methods and detailing, and possess the organizational and communication skills to manage projects from concept through completion.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to all phases of design and construction, working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver thoughtful, well-coordinated projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using BIM software (Revit) in coordination with project teams.
Manage assigned projects through all phases — from schematic design through construction administration.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal team members to ensure design intent and constructability are maintained.
Participate in project design development and detailing, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and technical quality.
Serve as a client point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring clear communication and responsive service.
Support project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Conduct site visits to review progress, document conditions, and support field coordination.
Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA, and sustainability standards.
Contribute to the development of office standards, drafting templates, and workflow improvements.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in project management in architecture or construction.
Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows; experience with AutoCAD and rendering software a plus.
Proficiency with project management software (Bluebeam, Word, Excel, Procore, Submittal Exchange, etc)
Working knowledge of construction documents, materials, detailing, and building systems.
Strong understanding of design documentation, coordination, and construction processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent organizational, communication, and client relationship skills.
